Job Description

SailPoint is the leader in Identity Security. We harness the power of AI and machine learning, delivering the central control point for risk management for the enterprise. SailPoint continues to grow globally and expanding our global presence creates opportunities to become a part of our awesome culture.
We are a Gartner leader, high growth Identity Security SaaS organization: the only company with a multi-tenant, micro services-built SaaS IGA solution and AI and machine learning Identity Security platform. Organizations don't know what data they have; let alone where it resides and crucially, and we help them answer those key questions. Identity security is the central control point for risk management for the enterprise: the easiest way to implement your digital transformation faster and reduce risk.
Our employees voted us "best places to work" - 10 years in a row.
The Business Operations Director, Global Sales will serve as the right hand for our Chief of Sales. This leadership role will play a critical role in supporting and leading functions essential to field sales support and productivity. A successful candidate will lead a significant amount of partnership and collaboration with several stakeholders across the organization, including all Sales organizations, Global Channel & Alliances, Sales Enablement, Finance, Legal and Product Marketing.
As the Chief of Sales 'trusted counsel', the role requires strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, and strong analytical and interpersonal skills. This individual is not afraid to "roll up their sleeves" and is equally comfortable devising multi-year programs and updating various dashboards/reports with the status of various initiatives. S/he thrives in a high growth, fast-paced environment, managing the urgent requests of a given day, always remaining extremely business and customer focused. At the end of the day, your satisfaction comes from the sales team's success, knowing that your support and leadership help led them to their wins.
What You'll Do:

  • Own all communications surrounding All-Hands, QBRs, presentation scripting, program communication and social media
  • Prepare all presentations and moderate rhythm of business calls, such as QBRs, forecast, top deals, other sales event meetings
  • Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to develop, implement and run a planning process. This includes capacity modeling, headcount planning, business migrations, compliance, FY planning, comp plans, MSP and pricing
  • Headcount Management - develop and coordinate job descriptions, job postings, hiring cadence and report on team capacity
  • Prepare and coordinate all documentation and logistics for executive customer engagements
  • Platform Coordination - Coordinate content across all sales platforms, HighSpot, Confluence, and SharePoint
  • Manage and continuously improve forecasting and pipeline review cadences with local sales regions
  • Support departmental need for ad-hoc reporting, modeling, and presentation creation for business reviews and management presentations
  • Improve operational excellence through identification and execution of initiatives which create efficiency, remove obstacles, or create improved processes and approaches to the business
  • Become a subject matter expert on the critical tools which the sales organizations use every day, such as Salesforce
  • Assist in special projects to run, grow and scale the global sales organizations
  • Partner with HR and finance to ensure appropriate budget planning, T&E tracking, and hiring targets are consistently on track and met to deliver on growth KPIs

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity within revenue operations in the enterprise SaaS industry
  • Demonstrated successful track record in developing presentations, reports and communications for a growing field sales organization
  • Excellent strategic and tactical business skills and a passion for using data to drive better decision making
  • Resourceful, self-motivated and able to prioritize independently shifting workloads in a dynamic, high growth environment with a positive attitude
  • Agile business mind, focused on both developing creative solutions and seeing them through
  • Advanced skill level in designing and building within MS Excel, MS PPT and other BI tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to comprehensively and clearly present strategic issues and solutions to senior leadership
