Your Mission:

We seek an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Anglophone Execution Hub team. Reporting to the Design Team Lead - AAF, the successful candidate will be crucial in delivering integrated systems and projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems that meet our clients' needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and sustainability practices.

Your Role - Magic happens when you bring great people together!

• Design and develop electrical systems for integrated projects, ensuring they align with client specifications and project requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, mechanical engineers, and software developers, to ensure seamless integration of systems.

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate project viability and identify potential challenges.

• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

• Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN) to create and review electrical schematics and layouts.

• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including safety and environmental guidelines.

• Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.

• Support the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance design processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in integrated systems and projects.

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Effective communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

• A commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency in design practices.

• Professional registration with ECSA (desirable.)
