Enablement Specialist - Retail

Job Description

Day in and day out this role breathes automotive desking and sales. From interfacing with customers via F&I Menus to booking deals that comply with the complex and rigid worlds of OEMs, lenders and regions. This role requires validating deals and coordinating with multiple internal and external teams to meet deliverables for multiple stakeholders and partner with the onsite implementation and support teams. Candidates for this role must have a mind for compliance, order and flexibility. The Enablement Specialist - Retail requirements include reviewing, validating, and updating state and local automotive retail taxes & fees data. Ensure each ARC cloud sales system is configured accurately according to timelines that build the confidence of end users and ISMs. The Enablement Specialist - Retail must collaborate closely with internal and external partners & vendors to ensure relevant data is accurate, timely and meets our company and partner needs. This individual also completes ad hoc and advanced Company tasks and projects as assigned.  The individual will need to work with other team members and Management as needed to meet partner expectations. Additional responsibilities will include partner & dealership interactions; and creating documentation for communicating process flows, tracking progress toward goals, summarizing information, and reporting to all levels of Tekion.

Key Responsibilities

• Enablement specialist role should source, analyze, edit, review, and validate state and local automotive taxes & fees
• Manage internal tools and processes around deals validations
• Collaborate with product managers and implementation teams to ensure data meets Tekion and customer needs
• Engage with dealer partners to review/validate and confirm accuracy of deals data
• Work closely with our vendors to ensure data accuracy, structure and timeliness SLAs are met
• Work with state & local websites and vendors to obtain information and answers, as needed
• Ability to work well with support team members, peers, and Management toward shared goals
• Coach new hires and team members on processes and domain terminologies
• Research and answer technical questions related to deals and our vendors’ datasets
• Expected to be subject matter expert by clearly understanding and improving data within various state and local calculations
• Assist, motivate, and accelerate team members’ personal development
• Ability to work with remote teams to coach and train them in assigned areas of responsibility

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of retail automotive finance and/or taxes & fees content experience
• Knowledge in vehicle dealer operation related to taxes & fees and Sales within variable ops
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders
• Be organized and adaptable to an ever-changing and fast-moving field
• Must be a team player but also able to work autonomously
• Keeps an entrepreneurial mindset, deep curiosity, and a passion for learning & growth
• Comfortable managing and reporting on multiple projects concurrently
• An agile worker who can adapt to shifting business needs in a fast-growing environment
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Skills

• Automotive retailing loan and lease payment calculation experience
• Basic level of Tax and Fee knowledge in all U.S. states
• Experience with 3rd party API workings

The salary range for this position is $60,520 - $102,350.  The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. In addition to the compensation listed, this position is eligible for equity compensation.
