Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy critical changes to the ICE Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS).
  • Facilitate timely decisions to maintain project schedule and quality.
  • Document all changes to the LOS with strict adherence to SOX documentation standards.
  • Provide management with regular project updates, maintain trusting relationships, identify project risks and assist by providing prudent and timely recommendations for solutions to business unit leaders.
  • Lead small and large complex projects to achieve key business objectives.
  • Execution knowledge in defining, understanding and managing scope, solutions and related issues within the Encompass LOS.
  • Understanding drivers for change and managing a change (scope/schedule/cost/benefits/quality).
  • Understanding and defining stake holder expectations, define escalation paths and manage the project communications at appropriate levels to proactively mitigate potential new issues due to under-communicating.
  • Effective communication of IT changes/issues/risks/mitigation/action plans.
  • Effective planning and management of meetings & tracking action items to closure utilizing online project management software.
  • 80% Encompass System administration, 10% project management, 10% general LOS/Business Technology Support

Qualifications/ Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree with 4 to 7+ years of technical experience in a large enterprise environment.
  • 4 to 6 Years of IT experience in all aspects of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and application development. Specifically supporting Encompass.
  • Must have at least two years of ICE system administration work.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage banking process and tools.
  • Comprehensive ICE Encompass and mortgage business knowledge.
  • Proficiency in computer software including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Problem solving ability to analyze and challenge conventional thought processes and use experience and/or intuition to create pragmatic solutions.
  • Demonstrate a flexible mindset by adapting to and helping drive change.
  • Basic understanding of JavaScript, VB code and business rule writing within the Encompass platform (Smart Client and Web).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and excellent data analytic skills.
  • Ability to allocate time efficiently; handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), time management skills, fast learner, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k. Compensation is based on experience and ranges from $90,000 - $120,000 annually. This is a full-time position.
