About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced Engineering Manager to lead Rula’s Patient Services Team, a core service that is vital to the user experience across multiple verticals and central to the company’s operations. In this role, you will oversee the development of scalable, reliable systems that enable experiences for patients and data for our internal teams. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, mentor a high-performing engineering team, and drive technical excellence to support Rula’s mission. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent work experience.

7+ years of professional engineering experience, including at least 5 years as an individual contributor and 2+ years in hands-on people management.

Proven experience in performance management, mentoring, and fostering professional career growth.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a history of successfully working cross-functionally.

Demonstrated expertise in building highly scalable, reliable, and performant systems.

Deep understanding of modern application design architecture, API design patterns, security, performance, and scaling.

Experience working in early or growth-stage companies.

Proven track record of recruiting, hiring, and developing technical teams.
