Engineering Sales Specialist

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Engineering Sales Specialist. This role is based out of our Greenwood, SC location.

This position will be responsible for leading in product development and support communication devices. This includes design, testing, verification, and project support activities. The position is reserved for individuals with software and firmware experience with communications protocols.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

What you'll do:

• Leading engineers and/or designers in new product development projects requiring unique solutions while meeting schedule, cost and product performance goals. Interfaces closely with cross-functional team members.
• Providing technical leadership for the development of communications equipment using and/or leading the efforts to use the latest analytical tools available in the industry.
• Coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and customers to determine design specifications for future and existing products. Develops and reviews product development requirement specifications including product and customer requirements. Writes and maintains functional specifications of design solutions.
• Coordinating design activities within project scope, budget, and schedule constraints. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules incorporating resource management and milestone deliverables.
• Working with manufacturing engineering on meeting new product manufacturability and cost goals.
• Provides technical training for both internal and external audiences. Provides application support for end users.
• Coordinating new product prototype builds.
• Customer Technical Support for advanced products

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer or engineering, including technology degrees from an accredited institution.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP business systems
• Experience with firmware and cybersecurity methodology
• Experience with electronics
• Experience in Linux
• Experience in Python or C/C++ languages
• Project management and scheduling for new product development
