The Data Architect will have a thorough understanding of the logical and physical data models behind both the operational and analytic data store.

The work:

• Install and configure database products and/or creating and configuring data-related AWS services.
• Peer review the DDL and DML created by feature teams.
• Code and guide other development team members with design for new database programs/code.
• Govern all changes made to the databases.
• Maintain knowledge of how data is queried from the databases and tuning / optimizing database performance.
• Maintain and enhance the performance of the existing database programs or code.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience with data technology
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with ETL
• Strong knowledge in BI and advanced analytics.

The extras:

• US Citizenship required; no dual citizenship

Bonus point if you have:

• Experience with Oracle
• Experience with AWS
