Job Description

ROLE

Telefonica Tech India is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to manage our bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and vendor management tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, as well as experience in payroll and vendor management.

As a Finance assistant expect to be: 

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records for the company, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Oversee and manage the payroll process, including calculating employee pay, deducting taxes and other withholdings, and issuing payslips.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax and financial regulations.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, including negotiating contracts, monitoring performance, and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts to ensure that the company has sufficient funds to meet its financial obligations.
  • Assist with budget planning and analysis.
  • Communicate financial information to senior management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant tax and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
