Position Overview:

Our forward-thinking company is at the forefront of the cryptocurrency revolution. We are currently seeking an experienced Firmware Manager to lead our firmware development efforts and manage our relationships with firmware and miner management software providers. This role is crucial for ensuring the continuous enhancement of our mining operations through innovative firmware solutions and the optimization of our mining hardware.

This is a full-time position based at our corporate headquarters in Henderson, Nevada. The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $70,000 per year.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Firmware Development: Lead the ongoing development of firmware features, ensuring that our mining operations benefit from the latest advancements in technology and efficiency.
• Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with firmware and hardware vendors. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring we collaborate with the best in the industry.
• Provider Evaluation: Actively search for, evaluate, and report on existing and new firmware providers, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality and reliability.
• Hardware Optimization: Identify and assess new miners, control cards, and hardware improvements. Your efforts in finding and testing these components will directly impact the efficiency and productivity of our mining operations.
• Management and Collaboration: Manage our primary firmware and miner management software providers. Ensure seamless integration and collaboration between these providers and our internal teams.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing of all firmware and hardware before deployment. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our mining operations.
• Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek out opportunities for improvement in our firmware and hardware setups. Your innovative approach will keep us at the cutting edge of the cryptocurrency mining industry.
• Additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in firmware development and management, preferably within the cryptocurrency mining, consumer electronics, or related industries.
• Strong background in vendor management, with the ability to foster and maintain productive relationships with external providers.
• Expertise in evaluating, testing, and reporting on firmware and mining hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with software and hardware providers.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate and improve firmware and hardware solutions.
• Strong communication skills, capable of effectively coordinating between teams and vendors.
• A deep understanding of the technological foundations of cryptocurrency mining is highly advantageous.
