Flutter Developer

Since its founding in 2019, Famedly has been committed to digitizing medical communication processes in compliance with data protection regulations, thereby revolutionizing the healthcare system. Famedly has launched the first TI-Messenger certified by gematik to improve communication and collaboration within the healthcare sector. This enables medical teams to exchange sensitive patient information, images, and other files in real-time from anywhere - from medication plans and laboratory values to X-ray images. As a dynamic, remote-first startup based in Berlin with a growing and experienced team, we work together every day on our vision of healthcare without information barriers. Famedly relies on open-source software and primarily uses Matrix and FHIR, actively developing these technologies.

As part of our talented frontend development team, you'll work as a Flutter Developer (m/f/d) on our communications apps based on the Matrix protocol with advanced encryption and privacy features. Your contributions will be crucial in providing digital communication solutions to hospitals to improve their processes and patient care.

• Development and improvement of a video consultation app for healthcare communication
• Design and implementation of new features
• Ensuring code quality and conducting code reviews
• Researching and integrating innovative solutions to improve our product

• Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through projects)
• Good knowledge of Flutter and Dart
• Strong teamwork skills, quick learning ability, and creative problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in open-source development

• Experience in WebRTC
• Experience with livekit
• Knowledge of Matrix and cryptography
