What is the role?
Our Buildings business creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialize in combining building services & intelligent automated systems. Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians (such as; Hospitals, Data Centers and Commercial buildings), to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality.

Reporting to GM-Engineering & Commissioning Leader we have an exciting and challenging role for a Commissioning Engineer (On Roll) with 6-10 years of experience to join our team Functionally reporting shall be to Commissioning Lead -(West ,NE, South)

Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to

• Handle the complete SW development, FATs, Commissioning and site handover with minimal support from Commissioning Lead.

• Major Activities expected is software development - Graphics, database, logics, soft communication interfaces, Commissioning, Site closure etc.,

• This role will have travel to customer/End-User sites across India for meetings, commissioning activities and post commissioning issues if any.

• Travel Requirement will be approx. 70% in the city of work location. Rest shall be based on business need.

• Commissioning of BMS, SCADA, DDC, PLC solution proposed for the Digital Buildings Portfolio. Role entails working on site to deploy customized engineering solution as per customer requirements.

• Work closely with the customer / consultant community (100% on site) to discuss technical solutions, build relationships within the community, and leverage the right offer technically.

• Work closely with Project / Sales manager across BU and work towards enabling closure of projects technically.

• Work with design as well as project team to deploy technical vital solution in entire project cycle.

• Support in grooming and building team.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4 Years BE/BTech/Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentations and Control, Electronics and communication, Electronics and Electrical/Mechanical

• Minimum of 6 to 10 Years of relevant experience.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Proficiency on M580HSBY PLC / DDC System

• Knowledge and experience to work on Control Expert/ EBO/Power SCADA/Citect SCADA/Schneider Local HMI/Wonderware Intouch/ Wonderware System Platform

• Other make PLC/DCS experience (Siemens/ABB/Rockwell/GE Fanuc) are also acceptable. In this case shall have DMS/IBMS experience

• Experience in FAS, ACS, CCTV, PAS systems commissioning will be an added advantage.

• Work experience on soft communication - Modbus (RS 485), Modbus TCP/IP, CanOpen, Profinet, Profibus, BACnet, SNMP, OPC UA, OPC DA, IEC (61850,60870-5), DNP3

• Ability to do complex DDC, PLC, DCS programming with sound knowledge of MEP services (HVAC, Electrical etc)

• Exposure on MCC, VFD panels & Field Instruments hook-up with PLC system

• Understand the customer RFQs and should be able to design the system inline to that.

• Good analytical skills to understand customer inputs and Engineering Drawings is mandatory.

• PC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word Excel and Power point.

• Good communication skills (English - must & Hindi - Preferred).

• Good influencing, negotiating and presentation skills.
