Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Contractor specializing in data center projects to oversee the construction process of our state-of-the-art bitcoin mining facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects, possess exceptional leadership abilities, and demonstrate expertise in ensuring the successful completion of complex data center construction ventures.Â
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the entire construction process, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgetary guidelines, and quality standards.Â
- Manage and supervise facility maintenanceÂ
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure smooth workflow and project progression.Â
- Oversee on-site construction activities, conduct regular inspections, and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.Â
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to construction teams, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in the project.Â
- Monitor and manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient project delivery.Â
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design requirements and industry standards.Â
- Communicate regularly with project managers and stakeholders to provide progress updates, address concerns, and resolve any construction-related issues.Â
- Implement quality control measures to uphold the highest standards of workmanship and ensure the delivery of a superior final product.Â
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, progress reports, change orders, and project records.Â
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements/ Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (preferred).Â
- Proven experience as a General Contractor
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, regulations, and safety protocols specific to data center facilities.Â
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate construction teams.Â
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.Â
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.Â
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneouslyunder limited direct supervisionÂ
- Travel between CleanSpark facilitiesÂ
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, LEED, PMP) are a plus.Â
