Job Description
What You'll Do
- Learn about our portfolio companies' markets and their user demographics: Gain a deep understanding of the markets in which our portfolio companies operate and familiarize yourself with the unique characteristics and preferences of their target audiences. This knowledge will help you create designs that effectively resonate with and engage their specific user demographics.
- Bring portfolio companies' brands, platforms, and websites (marketing and e-commerce) to the next level: Elevate the visual identity and user experience of our portfolio companies' brands and websites. Collaborate with the growth marketing teams to develop design strategies that align with their overall goals and enhance brand recognition, while ensuring a cohesive and seamless user experience across all touchpoints.
- Create landing pages, user acquisition flows, and SEO pages: Design compelling landing pages and user surveys and quizzes that drive conversions and capture leads. Utilize your understanding of SEO best practices to optimize the website pages for search engine visibility and improve organic traffic. Ensure that the landing pages and SEO pages are visually appealing, user-friendly, and aligned with the marketing objectives of the portfolio companies.
- Collaborate with the portfolio companies’ CEOs and product teams to conduct A/B testing of different design solutions. Use data-driven insights to evaluate the performance of various designs, iterate on them, and refine the user experience. By continuously experimenting and optimizing, you will contribute to improving conversion rates and overall user engagement.
- Conduct usability tests to gather feedback on the usability and intuitiveness of website designs. Conduct user interviews to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points. Apply the insights gathered from these activities to refine and enhance the user experience, ensuring that the designs effectively meet the needs and expectations of the target audience.
- Leverage AI and tools to support your design and research efforts. This may include using AI-powered analytics tools to gain insights from user data, utilizing AI-driven design tools to automate repetitive tasks, or employing AI-based algorithms to personalize user experiences. Stay up-to-date with emerging AI trends and incorporate them into your design process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Bring
- Proven experience as a Growth Designer, preferably in a revenue-focused or marketing-driven environment.
- Experience with Google Analytics and design tools such as Figma, Adobe CS, and FullStory.Â
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly designs that align with marketing goals.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and experience in designing websites for optimal performance across various devices and screen sizes.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices and the ability to implement SEO strategies into website designs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, content, and development teams.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset to evaluate the effectiveness of designs and make data-informed optimizations.
- Ability to context switch effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging design techniques.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to collaborate effectively with developers for seamless implementation.
