We are looking for a Head of Development - LATAM, based in the USA or Brazil who will be responsible for driving the establishment of Blueground in selected cities through Partnerships like Franchise, Joint Ventures, Management agreements etc. The Head of Development will adapt the global partnerships framework to make it fit for purpose, plan and promote our market entry, meet, select & sign partnerships agreements with the most appropriate partner for each city of LATAM.
What you will focus on:
- Define the Partnership framework and market entry strategy for each targeted city.
- Planning and executing the promotion of our proposition to potential partners and the broader real estate investment market in each targeted city through all routes.
- Identifying, contacting, and presenting to prospective partners through a range of business development activities including networking, and local prospecting.
- Selling the range of Partnership solutions to all prospects, converting interest into commercial negotiations and securing board approval for new partnership deals.
- Conducting due diligence with the prospective partner for each city and working with legal to get development agreements finalized and signed.
- Set the operating framework and standards for partners.
What we are looking for:
- Previously grew a partnership network within a multi-site business, with combined JVs and franchise/MAs partnerships in the hospitality/real estate industry.
- Demonstrable track record of sourcing & delivering, at pace, multiple deals of a meaningful scale ($5.000.000+ investment).
- Demonstrable high-level-potential own partners network in LATAM.
- Proven success in promoting a franchise business in the external market and delivering new franchise partners.
- Self-starter accustomed to self-generating interest and focusing relentlessly on delivering results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to persuade and influence people.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, delegate and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability and flexibility, able to respond quickly to changing demands, processes and information.
- Fluency in English.
