About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional Fractional Head of Finance with 15+ years of experience to serve as both Controller and FP&A leader, managing our growing financial operations. This strategic role requires a seasoned professional who has successfully scaled financial functions in fast-paced startup environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive team management experience and a proven track record in high-growth environments, particularly within fintech, SaaS, or marketplace companies.

What You'll Do

• Establish and optimize robust financial processes, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Drive strategic decision-making through sophisticated financial modeling, metrics tracking, and business analytics
• Oversee cash management, capital planning, and investor relations activitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and banking institutions
• Develop and implement financial controls and compliance frameworks to support rapid scale
• Partner closely with executive leadership to drive company strategy and growth initiatives

What We're Looking For

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant leadership roles in both controlling and FP&A functions
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, financial planning, and strategic analysis, with startup scaling experience
• Strong technical background with modern finance systems and automation tools
• MBA or CPA preferred, with experience in venture-backed startups
• Outstanding leadership presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively across all levels
• Strategic mindset combined with hands-on operational excellence
• Experience managing banking relationships and fundraising processes
