HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Partnering with People & Culture team to provide best-in-class HR support to team members and managers across Direct Agents
• Supporting VP of HR and becoming an expert across a diverse set of company-wide HR functions and initiatives (including but not limited to: culture and retention, employee life cycle, recruitment, benefits, immigration, etc.)
• Proactively identifying improvement opportunities across our work environment and partnering with leadership to affect necessary changes for efficiency, scalability, and best-in-class culture.
• Supporting people managers across employee growth plan development and performance management
• Managing development, organization and implementation of company-wide training initiatives 
• Ensuring all HR information is handled with a high degree of confidentiality and integrity
• Helping maintain up-to-date employee databases and provide ad hoc reporting as needed
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices as well as employment law

YOUR BACKGROUND

• 2+ years of HR related working experience in a fast paced and hands on startup environment
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with critical attention to detail
• Proactive approach with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
• Solutions-oriented attitude and ability to identify and address obstacles quickly and efficiently

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively and see projects through to completion
• Positive attitude and ability to easily build relationships across all functions
• Deep sense of professionalism and discretion handling sensitive information
• Passion for people and developing best-in-class work cultures

This People & Culture role is based in our NYC office and you must reside or be willing to relocate within commuting distance of the office for this role.

• A competitive salary $65,000 - $77,000 with reviews based on performance 
• Regular performance reviews occur at 1, 3, 6, 11 month marks during onboarding and biannually after that.
