Job Description
Avantor is looking for Workday Analyst to join the business, supporting the growth, improvement, and practical usability of our Workday HCM modules. You will be responsible for translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, implementing solutions, and coordinating & leading activities related to project work plans. Workday configuration experience including Time, Absence, and Payroll modules and outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The HR Systems team is part of the Human Resource business unit. This team is responsible for processing Avantor's human resource information using efficient and cost-effective computer systems and applications. Research, analyze, design and maintain information systems in support of human resource administration and projects. Monitor human resource information needs and design new or modifies existing systems to meet changing requirements.
What we're looking for:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or equivalent business experience.
Experience:
- 1-3 years' technical, hands-on experience working Time, Absence, and Payroll modules and including business process development is required.
- Functional Workday experience with Total Rewards modules, but not limited to Payroll, Reporting, Benefits and Security.
- Must have experience in processing EIB inbound integrations.
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Strong collaborative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Certifications:
- Relevant Workday / Workday Pro certifications - not mandatory
Preferred:
- Experience in the Compensation module is a plus.
- Hands-on with year-end Payroll/Benefits update is a plus.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills a plus
- Service Now experience a plus.

- Serves as a technical point of contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
- Act as the lead for feature releases working with team to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement system changes and enhancements.
- Supports and assists with the execution of activities related to HRIS projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensures data is secure, accurate, and timely through communications, training, audits, mass data load processing and reporting.
