Job Description

We're looking for enthusiastic candidates with DMS and/or dealership experience who love challenges, push boundaries and are passionate about delivering awesome customer experiences. Responsible for the initial phases of a customer purchased product installation, on-time completion, and communications throughout the assigned project timeline and customer support post launch. Our transparent and collaborative culture means we work both independently and together as a team on projects in an agile environment. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with multiple dealers through the onboarding timeline using internal company tracking tools  
  • Ensure delivery of quality dealer onboarding, efficiently and across multiple dealerships concurrently
  • Collaborate with the Implementation Manager to assist dealer onboarding completion 
  • Document and account for activity in internal program management tool 
  • Proactively anticipate dealer partner’s needs, challenges and expectations as well as seek out opportunities process improvements
  • Perform data entry to assist in system configurations, including forms
  • Communicate with third party vendors to establish enable integrated services 
  • Provide updates to ensure onboarding is completed on time and within guidelines
  • Collaborate to create best practices, achieve timelines and meet expectations 
  • Respond to customer escalations when necessary 
  • Handle routine customer questions relating to product usage, as well as support issues relating to products
  • Develop and grow technical expertise with Tekion’s software and hardware solutions 
  • Log all customer information accurately and timely within the internal ticketing system
  • Facilitate communication and response, from Support Team to OEM and dealership staff during implementation phase
  • Promptly escalate concerns to senior leadership as necessary 
  • Projects and tasks assigned by management
  • Work to exceed dealer partner’s business, support, and training expectations  

Skills and Experience

  • Automotive dealership, accounting, CRM or DMS knowledge, a plus
  • Must possess business acumen and solid customer focus 
  • Be self-directed and focused on quality 
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills 
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills 
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and influencing skills  

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience 
  • Automotive dealership or DMS experience
  • 1+ years of experience in related field/industry (software implementation, etc) 
  • 1+ years working directly with dealers on activating software services
