Global Internship Program:

Exciting opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2025 Global Internship Program as a National Office of Quality Intern in Burlington, NC!

As a Labcorp intern, you will have the opportunity to support meaningful assignments that compliment an education in STEM+ Business and Healthcare disciplines and are inspiring and valuable in our mission to improve health and improve lives across the globe. In addition to department work, we support your professional development and career exploration through program workshops, leadership speakers, employee resource group introductions, new hire panel discussions and small group "coffee chats".

We offer paid internships for current students in a variety of degree programs, such as:

• Biological related sciences

• Chemistry related sciences

• Animal science

• Computer science

• Healthcare

• Business/marketing

About the Team:

The National Office of Quality (NOQ) mission is to facilitate patient safety and quality results to make Labcorp the leader in providing quality clinical and anatomic pathology services to our clients. The NOQ provides support for the quality functions within Labcorp such as inspection readiness, state reporting of specific diseases, proficiency testing and other quality metrics, document control, and training and competency.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Project based work
• Mentoring and job shadowing
• Redesign of our newsletter
• Assist in the design of various electronic forms
• Organize documentation
• Assist with the design of our SharePoint

Education/Qualification/Skills:

• Working towards bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Science or Healthcare
• Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
• Embrace diverse ways of thinking through various forms of collaboration and partnership
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Smartsheet

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
