Jr. DevOps Developer

Position Title: Jr. DevOps Developer 

Department: IT 

Immediate Supervisor: CISO 

Essential Functions:

• Learn or demonstrate proficiency in the PowerShell language.
• Learn or demonstrate proficiency in the AWS PowerShell API.
• Learn or demonstrate proficiency in the VMWare PowerCLI API.
• Learn or demonstrate proficiency with using PowerShell to manage a Windows environment.
• Take direction and then work independently
• Work as part of a team
• Process documentation
• Availability for occasional weekend/evening work in addition to the normal work week

Preferred Talents / Skills:

• Demonstrable familiarity with a popular scripting language e.g. C#, Python, Powershell, Bash.
• Familiarity with git source control.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
• Fluent in the English language.
• Professional oral communications skills.

Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science.
• Strong interest in IT Operations and DevOps
