Job Description SummaryÂ
This position will be the bridge between operations and the client, with the goal of building strong relationships, leveraging internal/external data to understand the competitive environment, growing profitable sales and increasing our share of the business. You will report to the VP of Business Development.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesÂ
Overall
- Ensure our clients as satisfied and view Hana as the preferred sushi/pan-Asian partner
- Deliver sales and profitability targets
- Develop and execute shopper driven strategies to drive sales both in store and digitalÂ
- Partner with finance to provide current and new store forecasts
Client Management
- Work with Ops leaders to establish a meeting cadence and build relationships with Regional and Global Client Teams (assist relationships at the store level as needed)
- Develop quarterly client communication to inform the client of our performance, opportunities and exciting initiatives
- Develop Client Scorecard System
- Sell in incremental product programs and/or negotiate additional retail space
- Along with Operations leaders, secure fair share of future store pipelineÂ
- Invoice reconciliation and collection

Growth
- Use data to identify opportunities to grow comp sales and/or improve profitability
- Engage with Marketing and Commercial teams on promotional/pricing strategies
- Suggest strategies that will allow us to grow our digital business
- Successfully link internal, external (via industry research/NCIM) and customer data to guide the business
- Weekly & monthly reporting on key metrics

- As needed, roughly 30%

Qualifications
- 10+ yearsâ relevant experience within the food production industry/retail/upstreaming strategy and execution and a 4 year degree in business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to create a data driven, execution strategy aligned to the commercial strategy and executing goals to ensure financial and strategic success
- Understanding of retail strategy and execution across multiple environments and channelsÂ
- Must have proven leadership skills in conjunction with analysis, problem solving, and innovation skillsÂ
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in EnglishÂ
- Strong grasp of Hana Group standards, mission and core valuesÂ
