As Key Account Manager in Mining Mexico, you will lead a team of Site Sales Engineers to drive sales growth in a large and heterogenous group of customers. You will be responsible to define and implement the commercial strategies that will allow us to best position and solutions with these customers, gain market share and create recurring revenue to our company.
Your responsibilities
- Identifies opportunities in existing customer installations for replacement of equipment with products/equipment from the FLSmidth portfolio.
- Provides input for development of client retention and growth plans and strategies for developing profitable business with assigned accounts
- Grows the total profitable revenue at designated sites for all Products and Service related offerings of FLSmidth.
- Manages the Customer Relationship. Acts as single POC (Point of Contact) for all site/customer technical and commercial issues and travels often to sites
- Supports our Project Sales team to pursue large capital opportunities.
- Supervises team of Site Sales Engineers, in compliance with FLSmidth's organizational development framework, and exhibiting a strong leadership profile.
- Proposes stocking strategies to increase customer service levels
- Maintains oversight on Sales Budget and Costs for team to align with guidelines
- May acts as point of contact third party distributors for key product lines of FLSmidth
- Maintain comprehensive account plans for key accounts as well as sales opportunities, contacts, appointments, etc. within CRM applications.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
- Direct experience in Mining Operations (Process or Maintenance), at least 7-10 years
- Profound knowledge of the FLSmidth product portfolio in Mining, and direct sales experience with a proven track
- Previous experience managing a team or third party commercial partners
- Availability to travel more than 60-70%.
- Advanced English
- Commercial acumen and business development experience
- A hunter mindset to win sales and passion for customer satisfaction
- The ability and desire to work with a large team of colleagues across all functions to deliver the business results expected by the organization. A solution-oriented mentality, as well as the attitude to expand the role as much as the circumstances require.
- Driver's licence
- Preferred location: Monterrery, Nuevo León
