We're seeking a future team member for the role of Mainframe Storage Admin to join our Technology services team. This role is located in PUNE,Maharashtra or Chennai , Tamilnadu ( HYBRID)

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• Skilled on providing complete storage support , troubleshooting ,handle space and resolve storage related abends, technical support for customers and manage all mainframe storage software and hardware (may involve some after hours and weekend work)
• Expertise and good hands on experience on z/OS Storage, DFSMS, DFSMSrmm, DFSMS, DFDSS,DFDFP, DFSMShsm and Catalog management.
• Skilled on handling space issues and other storage related issues
• Skilled on z/OS Storage Administration ,Catalog management, Volume initialization, Customization of ACS routines, Volume backup and reorg, Storage health check etc and Storage dataset (RMM/HSM CDS & Catalog file) reorganization
• Expertise on IBM DFSMS tools, reorg procedures, trouble shooting, abend fixing, ACS changes, Volume and catalog moves etc
• Expertise on working on TSO, ISPF, JCL, VSAM, IAM, ISMF, JES2, Catalogs, Datasets (PS/PDS/PDSE/GDG), REXX, SAS, SDSF and Spool.
• Expertise in hardware storage subsystems including IBM DASD (DS8K), IBM Automated tape library and IBM Virtual tape library (TS7700/TS7720/TS7740/TS7760)
• Good knowledge on IBM's storage DS8000, CSM, Spectrum control , Ficons and IBM replication technologies.

• Experience in Creating change records , Service requests, Incidents,problem tickets in service now or any equivalent s/w
• Flexible to come on shifts and provide weekend support in shifts
• Good knowledge of Z/OS Operating System, z/OS(MVS) fundamentals, JES2 concept ,Storage fundamentals and Storage Devices.
• Coding knowledge of JCL, REXX and CLIST (Added benefit)
• Knowledge and hands on experience on CA-1 TMS, RMM, CA-Vantage ,BMC RUV/XBM, Catalog recovery plus , FDR or other storage related products

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Graduate / Post graduate
• Experience 5 to 8 years

Conducts and leads analysis to correct systems, applications, software, and hardware that are not compliant with Corporate policy/procedures.Works closely with external vendors, internal teams and business partners on large infrastructure engineering projects.Provides input and recommends processes in developing project plans. Monitors project progress and provides regular status reports to management team.Ensures that all systems, applications, software, and hardware are compliant with Corporate policy/procedures. Identifies issues and contributes to developing solutions.Maintains and may lead the process for documenting design, , build and standard operating procedures.Develops detailed project plans and tracks project progress.Works with Application Development and Quality Assurance, Testing and Business teams to understand infrastructure needs during the planning, design,development and testing processes. Ensures these needs are taken into account when developing infrastructure.Evaluates the organization's existing infrastructure technology and researches and analyzes trends. Implements changes to the infrastructure technology that enhance its reliability and efficiency.Performs basic production support tasksIdentifies opprotunites for process improvement and automation.Contributes to the achievement of area objectivesBachelor's degree in computer science or at least 5 years of equivalent work experience required4-5 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
