Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Involve in different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and work in a highly dynamic Agile environment.
• Design and develop software using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Hands on AWS experience in EKS, ECS, Fargate, AWS Lambda, Terraform, AWS Aurora Postgres, AWS logging and monitoring using Datadog, AWS Security groups, AWS MSK(Kafka).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Testing and fixing bugs or other coding issues.
• Contributes to team delivery and works with team to complete tasks to high quality and actively learns new skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required.
• 12+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices and development of cloud native applications in AWS
• Experience in Aurora PostgreSQL, Kafka, MSK, SQS, Distributed Systems, ReactJS
• Build Technical design document and knowledge on different design patterns.
• Build and deployment tools like Jules and Jenkins.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to partner effectively.
• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a team/collaborative environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95K - $168K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
