In March 2021, we became part of the Snap family. Snap is a leading camera company. Together with Snap, we plan to define and shape the future of shopping by covering the gamut of augmented reality (AR), virtual try-on and size recommendations.

Fit Analytics — the world’s leading size advisor solution for online clothes shopping — is seeking an experienced JavaScript Developer to join our team in Chicago. In this role you’ll be developing front end integrations of our size advisor onto e-commerce sites, helping clients and internal stakeholders understand the requirements for successful integration, as well as leading a team of FE developers and QA engineers. What The Role as Lead Front-end Developer Involves

• Writing simple scripts for collecting and parsing data needed to initialize the Fit Finder solution on different e-commerce sites
• Performing code reviews, ensuring best code practices are followed
• Improving our integration code base and processes to ensure smooth, stable, and fast integration of new clients without compromising data quality
• Leading a small team of engineers, helping its members to grow their skills and successfully deliver the high-quality product
• Serving as a technical resource for internal team members and clients to help them better understand requirements (calls, emails, etc.)

Your work environment

• Being part of a closely-knit team, with most to all team members currently (because of the pandemic) working fully remote
• The Integration team is responsible for bringing our core product to the users and as such has large impact on the whole company
• Regular knowledge sharing sessions
• Communication via video conference (Google Meet) and Slack, with a focus on productivity and low distraction

What We're Looking for in You

• Experience in software development with JavaScript
• Good knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3
• Experience with Version Control Systems (e.g. Git)
• Good knowledge of Linux is an advantage
• Native-apps (Android, iOS) experience is a big advantage
• Back-end experience (Node.js) is a plus
• API knowledge is an advantage
• Innovative and self-motivated, with strong problem solving skills
• Willingness to develop management skills and build a strong team
• Ability to confidently speak and work with both internal and external contacts
• Experience as team or tech lead is a plus
