Summary: Maintain, repair, and install electrical equipment at multiple asphalt production facilities in the Metro Detroit Michigan area.

Responsibilities :

• Perform all work safely and within MSHA and NEC standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical equipment and power distribution throughout multiple plants.
• The ability to have flexible hours and to be on call.
• Interpret electrical printouts, installation instructions, and work orders.
• Establish the appropriate procedures to locate and correct electrical problems, and determine electrical component replacements.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems in power circuits rated at 120-240 volts, in control circuits of various voltages.
• Troubleshoot and repair IT wiring and camara system issues.
• Perform splices and terminations.
• Install and maintain power controls on equipment.
• Install and maintain plant lighting
• Perform work area inspections.

Requirements :

• Safety conscious, self-motivated, proficient communication skills, long-term career goals, exceptional work ethic.
• The ability to read and draw diagrams.
• Knowledge of basic AC and DC control circuits as well as terminology of tools, prints and equipment.
• The ability to install conduit and tubing.
• High School Diploma.
• At least two years of electrical experience.
• Journeyman's license preferred
• The ability to work at heights
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Proficient or skilled in the use of computer software including but not limited MS Windows and MS Office.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and fit for physical work

• This position requires walking, standing, bending, twisting, sitting and the ability to lift with or without accommodations.
