This role is located in Huntsville, AL.

What You'll Get to Do:

Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipment.

* Typically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

* Conducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment.

* Uses hand and power tools.

* Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment.

* Uses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications.

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED with 6 years of experience working in Facility Maintenance.

* Knowledge of general maintenance processes, methods and problem-solving skills.

* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.

* Maintenance Management System/Program experience such as L2L, Maximo, Maintenance Connect etc.

* Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a mission critical facility environment by participating in maintenance activities for several different trade disciplines.

* Proficient with MS Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and or Databases.

* Preventative Maintenance Planning.

* Ability to perform effectively in a team environment.

* Systems Furniture.

* Facilities Work Authorization.

* Data analysis and reporting.

* Demonstrated time management and organizational skills as well as strong communication skills.

Salary Range: *$67,300 - $112,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
