Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, modification, trouble shooting, and repair of a wide variety of challenging electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment.
• Provide electrical support for all facility systems and equipment including but not limited to conveyors, A-Frames, Printers, Strappers, Compressors and other automated technologies.
• Demonstrate skills in all phases of facility maintenance including electrical troubleshooting.
• Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training.
• Ability to lead and train other facilities assistants.
• Communicate with and maintain relationships with vendors.

Shift Details: Monday - Thursday 10:00 PM, until completion of shift

• Applicants must have flexibility with work hours and days, to include holidays and short notice call in.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1+ years of related experience

Critical Requirements:

• Exposure to electrical and mechanical systems including power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS systems, compressors, strappers, wrappers, air handling units, CRAC units, MDR/Spiral Conveyors systems, HVAC, freezer refrigeration
• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
• Experience with automated & electro-mechanical systems including PLCs, and control systems
• Ability to interpret diagrams
• Facility, maintenance or service technician experience
• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
• Equipment: Ladder, scissor lift & fork truck use,

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Includes standing, sitting, walking, general labor, climbing up to (3) story heights in a warehouse environment.

$19.23 - $32.05
