Marketing Manager - Slovakia

Position Summary:

Trupanion is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Manager for our European team, that will support the Czech Republic and Slovakia regions, with potential to support other regions as needed. The role will require strong B2B and B2C marketing know-how, project management skills, ability to multi-task, and a passion for producing high quality work that moves the needle. The ideal candidate will unlock the stories behind our data points and deliver impactful marketing ideas and assets that drive Trupanion’s cross-collaboration and empower team building throughout the business.

Candidates for this position have the option to work remote from anywhere in the Czech Republic or Slovakia. There will be in-person meetings that will take place in our Prague office as needed. Since this role supports international expansion and growth at Trupanion, there may be travel from time to time and flexibility regarding working hours due to accommodating various global time zones.

Key Responsibilities Include:

A self-starter who is passionate about owning success, while also encouraging creativity in tandem with data-driven results, that can apply excellent business judgment to deliver results and thrive in a constantly evolving environment. Reporting into the International Marketing and Communications team, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for working cross-functionally to bring concepts and ideas to life in support of our breeder, veterinary, and consumer channels. As a member of the International team, you’ll have the chance to create an immediate impact on the rapid growth of our company. This person will work with business stakeholders to achieve success by handling:

• Implementation and optimization digital and direct communications that engage, educate, and retain pet owners, breeders, and veterinarians alike through various mediums such as: emails, SMS/texts, social media, blogs, print collateral, and website content authoring.
• Build, manage, and push engaging and relatable content and campaigns for various channels and mediums to increase the amount of loving, responsible pet owners and their pets within the Trupanion family.
• Measure the effectiveness, progress, and impact of Czech and Slovakia regional Marketing as they relate to important metrics and company goals.
• Provide reporting on regional performance as well as insights and recommendations to leadership.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience building and optimizing MarTech tools, such as CRM, Content Management System, and Marketing Automation (e.g., Iterable, Plausible Analytics, Dynamics365).
• 1+ years managing external vendors such as: agencies, freelancers, and creators (influencer and UGC).
• Proven record of running multiple projects, with various resources and partners, simultaneously while remaining organized and focused.
• Excellent background in content creation for differing mediums (static, video, animation) with various tools, like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Figma or CapCut.
• Qualified experience working with Social Media Management tools, like Metricool or Hootsuite.
• Familiarity with project management software, such as Smartsheet or Asana.
• Experience working on multiregional and multilingual efforts.
• Deep understanding of the cultural nuances and differences between Czechia and Slovakia, that would impact our key target audience.
• Ability to audit Paid media programs (Social and Search) to ensure our overall marketing vision is being supported effectively.
