THE JOB:Β 

The MGM Rewards Representative at MGM Grand is focused on enhancing the guest experience by delivering exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibilities include promoting and enrolling guests into the MGM Rewards program, conducting redemptions, reviewing promotions, and answering questions about benefits. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest’s experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING PAY RATE: $17.00 / Per Hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Explain the MGM Rewards program comprehensively, enroll guests in the program, and facilitate the redemption of guests' points and offers
  • Assist guests with inquiries, including questions about the MGM Rewards program, Direct Marketing Offers, MyVegas (where applicable), special event offers, program updates, and promote awareness of the GameSense (problem gambling program)
  • Navigate various computer systems such as Patron Management, myVegas (where applicable), MCP, Opera, Veridoc, and GMP
  • Organize companywide promotional events like the Holiday Gift Shoppe, Cruise Giveaway, and Stay and Gift promos
  • Collaborate with VIP Services to resolve hotel reservation issues
  • Support hosts in providing discretionary MGM Rewards Point Comps
  • Assist with promotional Slot Tournaments and distribute event tickets
  • Research, redeem, and adjust Tier Credits
  • Redeem PO Offers, myVEGAS rewards, and issue comps/FREEPLAY
  • Monitor and adjust receipts for members' non-gaming expenditures
  • Apply MGM Rewards Points to guests' hotel folios
  • Assist guests in using the mobile app
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • One (1) year of previous guest services experience
  • Knowledgeable of Player Tracking systems
  • Nevada State Gaming Registration
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
  • Capable of standing and walking for a majority of the shift
  • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • High school diploma, GED or educational equivalent
  • Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
