Minecraft Growth Lead

Lead growth for Medal within the Minecraft ecosystem. The ideal candidate can leverage their understanding of the Minecraft ecosystem to lead product strategy and foster key partnerships to drive growth of players actively clipping using Medal each week. This role reports to James and Ken.

Responsibilities

• Requires a minecraft expert. Has managed servers, built platforms, plugins, tools, or mods. Understands the motivations of both players and businesses within the ecosystem.
• Make and execute on product plans to drive growth and partnerships in the Minecraft ecosystem.
• Foster relationships with key players (servers, platforms) in the Minecraft ecosystem to secure growth partnerships focused on loops between Minecraft devs and Medal.
• Foster relationships with Minecraft creators as well to do cool social partnerships.
• Manage and ideally hire a team – flexible on size. Depends on the product plan.
• Oversee Minecraft and Medal technical teams, alongside Medal leadership, to create interesting integrations.
• Critically, the person should be able to build up a LOT of momentum via a relentless calendar of developer and creator partnerships. Need to do a LOT of partnerships at once so as many people see it as many times as possible.
• Diligently oversee operations behind launching all of the developer and creator partnerships.
