Job Description

Zions Bank's National Nonprofit Finance Group (www.zionspf.com/nonprofit) is seeking a highly motivated full-time Analyst or Senior Analyst to join an entrepreneurial 5-person team, led by two senior bankers. The team arranges tax-exempt and taxable financing transactions for Nonprofit organizations nationwide. This position offers immediate and direct working experience with a wide range of Nonprofit organizations, institutional lenders, leading US law firms and public sector conduit Issuers, through the execution of bond and loan transactions.

Essential Functions

  • Quantitative and qualitative analysis of Nonprofit organizations
  • Debt service and cash flow modeling
  • Transaction structuring and management
  • Lender identification and stewarding
  • Report, pitch book and presentation preparation
  • Coordination of financing group meetings
  • Market trends and industry research
  • Management of internal database records and reports
  • Other ad hoc duties in support of the overall success of the group

Other responsibilities include assisting in office administration on technology and compliance-related issues. The environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities. The position allows for direct client interaction, occasional travel, and advancement within the Bank. While the team is largely based in Boston, MA, this is a remote position, with the option to work at one of the Zions Bancorporation offices within the Bank's market, if desired.

Qualifications

  • Minimum BA, MBA is preferred.
  • Financial/credit analysis experience, ideally in public finance or investment banking.
  • Self-starter with strong quantitative, writing, organizational, creative, strategic thinking and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word and other MS Office products.
  • Knowledge of Munex or other bond structuring programs, and CRM software is a plus.
  • Series 7 and Series 52 licenses a plus, but not required.

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000 - $95,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
