OB/GYN Hospitalist

The Obstetrics and Gynecology Institute, Cleveland Clinic Florida, seeks board eligible/certified physicians to join the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology as Ob/Gyn Hospitalists. Cleveland Clinic Florida operates a rapidly growing, integrated obstetrical program at three hospitals with maternity services, located in Stuart, Port St. Lucie, and Vero Beach, totaling more than 3000 births annually. Level 1 or 2 neonatal services are provided currently with plans to expand to Level 3 status at one of these facilities in the future. The Hospitalist’s primary focus is comprehensive clinical care of high and low risk patients on the obstetrical service. The hospitalist program is supported by a 24-7 in house midwifery service, an Ob/Gyn physician on call to help with acuity and volume on labor and delivery and emergent gynecological surgical procedures, and maternal-fetal consultative services. Other clinical duties include emergency room and hospital consultation for Obstetrics and Gynecology. A full-time position entails a minimum of seven 24-hour shifts per month. Compensation and benefits package are extremely competitive.

Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital and Cleveland Clinic Martin South Hospital are located in Martin County, with Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in St. Lucie County. Cleveland Clinic Martin Health offers a continuum of care including preventive, primary and acute hospital care, as well as cancer and cardiac care, wellness and rehabilitation services.
