Office Manager

About the role

The Office Manager (Full-time) will be responsible for helping to setup and run Chalk’s workplace. You will play a critical role within the organization by helping the company to operate seamlessly and supporting the team to reach peak performance. This is your opportunity to join us in-person as an early employee and make a visible impact at a high growth start-up.

What you will do

• Hours will be 9-6:30 M-F(must)
• Open the office each morning and make sure we’re ready to kick off the day
• Greet visitors, interview candidates, and customers
• Keep the office stocked with supplies, meals, snacks, drinks and everything we need to keep our team happy and operating at a high level
• Select vendors, negotiate contracts, and onboard new suppliers
• Plan team events and offsites
• Assist with administrative tasks, scheduling, and general support for Chalk’s Co-Founders
• Additional opportunity to take on other operational roles at the company based on experience (Operations Associate Role)

• Outgoing and personable
• Scrappy, problem-solving and hard working

• Experience working closely with engineering teams

Compensation

$25-$40/HR (Time and a half for overtime each day). Actual compensation awarded to successful candidates will be based on several factors, including market, years of experience, scope of the position, and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
