Job Summary

We are looking for an Operational Buyer. This position is responsible to lead and coordinate action plans to resolve Purchasing Operational issues with suppliers.

Skills:

• University degree in commercial, engineering or value chain-related areas.
• English at a level of 80%.
• Experience 3 years (supply chain, planning or related)
• Skill and knowledge in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point).
• Teamwork.
• Able to manage staff.
• Able to make decisions.

Your role:

• Develop strategies with the Aptiv team and the most important suppliers in APV to prevent problems in advance: raw material shortages, capacity, vacation scheduling, port congestions, etc. Focus efforts on ensuring more than 8 weeks of supply.
• Lead and coordinate action plans to resolve operational purchasing problems: raw material shortages, capacity problems, service and response from suppliers, etc. Address problems in a timely manner and follow up until they are resolved.
• Lead, coordinate and maximize Cost Recovery negotiations. Coordinate with plants to ensure appropriate supporting documentation in a timely manner. Coordinate a timely response with suppliers.
• Support the Payment Solution team, direct and resolve suspended Credit situations and payment problems as required. Direct documentation and non-compliance issues in suppliers' ASN.
• Document and track purchases with distributors: causes, cost, delta, work with the PC team to determine responsibility between Supplier and Aptiv to ensure recovery from suppliers, when applicable.
• Improve the relationship and interaction between SCM and PC teams: communication, process, availability and collaboration.
• Comply with policies and procedures: 0 Non-conformities with BSI, Internal Control, internal audits of EOS and clients
