Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
Partnerships Coordinator plays a critical role in accelerating our brand and community position through powerful brand-led initiatives in our growing and existing markets in North America.

You will be responsible for supporting the rollout of our Brand-led sponsorships and partnerships at a community level. In this role, you will support with the execution and management of North American programs contributing to our growth in snow, climb, and trail (inclusive of hike and mountain running) activities.

This person is obsessed with the Coast Mountain culture and creating partnerships and experiences that further express our love of climb, snow, trail, and, most importantly, COMMUNITY.
This role is a hybrid role and the candidate must be located in Vancouver, B.C area.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Community and Experiences Team leads a strategy and process that supports our regions in creating long-term commitments to the community via local partners, ambassadors, athletes, and organizations surrounding our stores and places of practice. The team also supports key drivers to increase brand affinity, loyalty, retail sales, traffic, and revenue.Â
If you were in the Partnerships Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Supporting the Partnership and Sponsorship Specialist with daily needs for international brand community events and partnerships
- Support in creating and delivering project briefs for endemic events and/or North American partnerships
- Maintaining relationships with top-tier North American event partners aligned with our brand purpose, vision, and strategy for snow, climb, and trail
- Collaborating with cross-functional internal and external teams on contracts, payments, and invoicing with vendors and suppliers
- Support with event budgets and monthly reporting, ensuring documentation complies with Arc’teryx and Amer Sports requirements
- Assisting with venue selection, installation/tear-down, and onsite event management
- Working with the Senior Manager, Brand Experiences to ensure events are executed in line with the brand vision and strategy, and that they are on budget and on schedule
- Coordinating event debrief sessions, gather feedback, and produce event recaps for internal sharing to continually elevate Arc’teryx event experiences and develop key objectives for evolving events
- Overseeing extended event responsibilities, including coordinating travel and accommodation, customs arrangements, ground and air transportation, product needs, certificate of insurance/permit needs, and program support as required
- Researching and staying current on trends in event planning and execution by attending relevant seminars, conferences, and competitor events, and by maintaining membership in industry-related associations
- Working cross-functionally with the Community and Experiences team, Community Impact, Sports Marketing, PR, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Brand Managers, Product Designers, Social Media, North American community, and retail teams to leverage regional ambassadors and strategic partners in all areas of the business
- Submitting product and seeding orders for event needs, ambassadors aligning with overarching seeding strategy
- Support in managing Community Marketing Managers and ensuring they stay on task and deliver what is outlined in the brief for endemic and North American partnerships
- Working with local community partners, businesses and ambassadors to in support a grassroots approach to endemic events
- Ensuring diversity, inclusivity and equity efforts to break down barriers and increase access in in the outdoors and support in building relationships with local indigenous nations/tribes to integrate truth and reconciliation opportunities within the work we do
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
- Partnering with the Senior Manager, Brand Experiences, Community Program Managers, Experiences team, and Brand managers to plan and execute annual national community initiatives, including annual climbing festivals and endemic partnerships
- Supporting the national partnerships and ambassadors in associated program deliveryÂ
- Supporting a robust seeding strategy to support the partnerships pipeline

- You have a bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- You have 2+ year’s prior experience in communications, digital or brand marketing
- You are able to work well in a team setting and with various levels within the organizationÂ
- You understand a budget, strong overall analytical capabilitiesÂ
- You are extremely organized and have experience managing multiple, time sensitive projectsÂ
- You are able to work cross-functionallyÂ
- You have experience working with retailers, preferably in the outdoor industryÂ
- You have strong computer skills – Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPointÂ
- You have excellent oral, written and presentation skillsÂ
- You are self-motivated, committed, tenacious and goal-orientedÂ
- You are energetic and passionate about the brandÂ
- You have a positive, professional and enthusiastic attitudeÂ
