Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Payroll Professional / HR Ambassador you will work with our IBM Payroll and the broader HR team to ensure continued successful delivery of services in support of employees in Croatia. You will execute the every-day dealings and handle exceptional situations/requests/issues. You will lead one-of the kind initiatives.

In order to be successful in the role you will need to absorb professional knowledge and develop skills quickly be able to build and maintain effective working relationships. You will be expected to look for improvement opportunities and to assist implementation of changes for our organisation to do faster to deliver better results and to enhance employee experience.

In this role you will:

• Act as a Country Process Owner for payroll and other HR processes (for country specifics)
• Ensure alignment of process design procedures guidelines and systems used to legal regulations corporate and business requirements
• Cooperate with upstream and downstream processes/owners (primarily HR finance treasury HR accounting) and other internal functions (like procurement IT legal tax)
• Maintain the relationship with vendors involved
• Manage daily operations and drive implementation of changes resulted from legal requirements corporate directives business needs and or improvement opportunities
• Support internal and external audits inspections and requests
• Handle employee queries and other incoming questions
• Lead special projects toward successful completion and or contributes to as required

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position or in the broader HR
• Knowledge of local HR related regulations and best practices including payroll and time
• Strong focus on delivery timeliness and accuracy
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Languages: Croatian – fluent English – intermediate

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Master’s degree in HR accounting finance or other relevant
• Hands-on experience in international companies
• Workday and SAP Success Factors experience
