In recent years, Double Good has seen 40% year over year growth, and we’re excited about our future! We’re excited about the possibility of you joining our mission. We are looking for a People Operations Analyst to join our growing People Team.
About the role:
You will have the opportunity to manage and improve various programs with a focus on benefits administration, leave management, workers compensation, onboarding, and HRIS optimization. In this role, it is critical that you build effective relationships with internal partners and external vendors. Your success and impact will be defined by the level of efficiency, scalability and employee experience that you create. You will be supported by the Director of People Operations.
We have 3 locations in Illinois - Burr Ridge, Elmhurst, Chicago (Willis Tower). This role can be hybrid working 2-3 days per week in one of the locations and with the ability to visit the other locations as needed.
- Benefits administration: You will be the go-to resource for our medical, dental, vision, disability, EAP, life insurance and COBRA benefits. You will be the conduit between Double Good and our benefits broker, guiding the company through our annual Open Enrollment experience.
- Leave management: You will be the subject matter expert for our employees. You will be the relationship contact for our external partner leave vendor, and ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Workers compensation: You will be the orchestrator guiding our Safety team, People Experience team, and our insurance partner through claims and follow up.
- Be the HRIS champion: The Director of People Operations will lean on you to drive employee and manager self service in our HRIS. As you process and support employee changes and data transactions, we look to you to ensure workflows are anchored on human-centered design.
- Help deliver a welcoming experience for our new hires: You will be a resource and collaborator for our People Experience team and our onboarding program. We will look to you to facilitate new hire benefits enrollment and create any necessary content for onboarding.
- Be a change agent for the better: We don’t stop improving, and we want you to collaborate with your People Team colleagues to evaluate and improve processes and programs under your care.
- Be compliance-focused: Regulatory reporting (EEO-1, ACA, etc.) is required, and we want someone who embraces it.
- Be adaptable: We’ve grown a lot recently, and there will be many opportunities (some not known yet) to scale People Operations. Our Chief People Officer and Director of People Operations are always up to something good that can result in interesting projects!
Experience & Skills we value:
- A high degree of fluency with leave management, employee benefits, and workers compensation
- Demonstrated ability to create, process, and administer HRIS transactions and workflows
- Ability to problem solve and partner with employee groups at all levels of the organization
- Excellent process management and documentation skills, ensuring regular review and auditing for continuous improvement and updates
- Ability to use data to drive decision making, tracking initiative success and communicating results
- Previous experience in a benefits or total rewards administration role
Nice to have and/or you’ll learn:
- Experience with Rippling HRIS
- Experience partnering with external vendors for benefits, leave management and workers compensation
- Experience working in a high growth, manufacturing environment
- Experience working with Google Suite
