Summary/Objective:

As part of the Contact Center Team, the Financial Solutions Guide (FSG) provides account support, financial guidance and financial solutions to Elevation’s members and prospective members through all servicing channels. The Financial Solutions Guide in the Contact Center is responsible for actively listening and proactively fulfilling the financial inquiries of each member by offering the appropriate business and consumer product/service recommendations to their immediate and underlying needs.

Essential Functions include:

• Exhibits passion for Elevations Credit Union (ECU) and demonstrates Elevations’ core values, Integrity, Respect, Passion, Creativity, and Excellence.
• Engages members and employees using the Personalized, Elegant, Accurate, Kind, and Timely (PEAK’t) Service model; with care, professionalism, and the highest level of service to explore relevant solutions to members and refer to internal partners as identified.
• Originates all consumer loan type applications, analyze member’s credit report and financial journey, and proactively demonstrates strong relationship and ethical sales practices that include cross-sell opportunities of Elevations products and services.
• Handles account maintenance needs to include but not limited to opening and closing accounts, online banking support, and loan payments.
• Demonstrates operational excellence through adherence with established policies, procedures, and processes.
• Adheres to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations governing the Credit Union, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent GED required
• 2+ years of financial institution experience
• 1+ years of lending experience
• An understanding of consumer lending and deposit products
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in dealing with sensitive client information

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Consumer and business lending experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred – includes $150/month bilingual bonus after passing aptitude assessment!

Work Environment:

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally and up to 25 lbs of force infrequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full time / 40 hours per week

Flexible to work Saturdays as department needs dictate

Compensation:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $22.82 and $28.49 per hour, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
