Principal SAP HANA XSA Consultant

Infosys is seeking aDistinguished Architect for architecting solutions for SAP Hana (with XSA) on cloud along with Snowflake in the ecosystem.This position will interface with key stakeholders andapplytechnical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience with 10+ years' experience on architecting solutions.
  
• USA Work permit to work based out of Houston Texas Location.
  

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years architectural experience with Distinguished / Advanced level certification achieved and recognized by product company (EG. or HANA Distinguished Engineer or Advanced snowpro certification)
  
• Extensively working on SAP Native HANA data models with preference of SAP HANA XSA (optional) data modelling awareness. Design /Creation /modification and solutioning on HANA platforms.
  
• Understanding of hyperscalers and HANA on cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP. Liaison with client in designing and and follow the best practices (dos and don'ts).
  
• Ability to work in Agile/scrum teams following the scrum rituals.
  
• Apply Physical Data Modeling skills in highly complex, global and cross-functional scenarios for remediation
  
• Trouble shoot /debug issues faced during implementation /solutioning on native HANA platforms.
  
• If need arise work with SAP to figure out solution for client.
  
• Experience of at least 2 cycles of fresh /complex implementation. (around 16 TB size systems)
  
• Recommend system wide improvements
  
• Performance analysis of HANA /snowflake system and implementation of overall system improvements.
  
• Support of the Snowflake/similar systems and coordination with product company (lends expertise to work out solution)
  
• SAP HANA Native (SQL) Warehouse and Data Modelling and
  
• SQL Querying/Scripting (SQL DDL, DQL, DML, DCL), Expert in both normalized/denormalized and multi-dimensional data models for transactional processing, and/or analytical purposes
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
