About the Role:

Join our team as a Product Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of work. In this position, you will be instrumental in evolving product guidelines and standards across Industrious's diverse portfolio, ensuring each location reflects innovation and excellence. Your responsibilities include supporting the product development process, owning product pilots through the test-fit stage and creating stakeholder buy-in for those pilots across the company. You will collaborate closely with Design Managers and cross-functional teams in Pre-Construction, Construction, Facilities, and Operations to support the company’s ambitious growth and development plans for new and existing locations.

We are seeking a creative self-starter with a strong background in space planning, product strategy, and design technology. Your leadership in significant initiatives will be vital in scaling and enhancing departmental efficiency, aligning with our growth objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous situations, possesses robust product thinking skills, and is adept at using new software and technologies for problem-solving. Your enthusiasm for participating in design and product discussions across the organization will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

This role is based in New York City.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and iterate on the international Industrious library of product guidelines and standards, focusing on translating product frameworks into actionable and buildable guidelines to support global growth.
• Ensure that Industrious product standards and guidelines are followed in design decision-making by internal and external teams, supporting Design Managers in managing the quality of vendor outputs per the established guidelines and standards.
• Support the translation of product strategy to projects through programming and test fits, owning a substantial portion of the real estate pipeline
• Lead both team and cross-functional initiatives that reinforce business growth objectives
• Train and coach internal and external team members in use of guidelines and standards, industry best practices, use of design technology, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including Construction, Pre-Construction, Real Estate, Facilities, Unit Operations, among others
• Improve the modern workplace through research - identifying design ideas, trends, and new product specifications to evolve our design standards and innovate our physical workplace products
• Provide leadership in development of our design vision, strategy, operational execution and cross-functional feedback loop
• Build a positive culture on our growing team and have significant input to our design vision, strategy, and execution

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in architecture, interior design, or a related field. Strong preference for candidates with 1+ years experience working with design standards on branded environment / commercial interior projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam. Experience with Airtable is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design strategy, contextualize it within business context and gather stakeholder buy-in
• Passion for research, iteration, and innovation of the built environment and design-thinking frameworks - ability to strategically synthesize customer insights and internal data to propose solutions which improve customer experience
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills
• Highly organized and capable of balancing multiple priorities
• Ability to effectively build relationships and trust with internal and external stakeholders
• Comfortable creating axonometric diagrams and quick renderings using 3D modeling software
• Commitment to modeling Industrious values of integrity, teamwork, and ownership day to day
• Ability to occasionally travel within and outside the US 

Compensation:

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $80,000 and $90,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.

You will also be eligible for an annual bonus calculated based on individual and company performance.
