Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We work to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Product Manager to help build and scale ad performance at Spotify. In this role, you’ll own the roadmap for improving the pacing system for Spotify’s ad platform, while developing new bidding and pacing features to delight advertisers. This work is crucial to meeting our ambitious revenue goals as an ad-supported platform and has a direct impact on revenue.
You’ll work with a diverse group of collaborators and stakeholders across Amplify, and build a platform that enables promotion across various Spotify missions. Your work is critical to the success of ads at Spotify and one of the highest investment areas for the Amplify mission, requiring frequent leadership updates and the ability to navigate ambiguity across product areas.
What You'll Do
- Create a roadmap to improve the ad auction pacing system, with a direct impact on Spotify revenue
- Build new pacing and bidding features to delight advertisers
- Own squad level roadmap in one of the highest investment areas for AmplifyÂ
- Work cross-functionally with backend engineers, ML engineers, data scientists, product marketing, and PMs across Amplify to identify and drive opportunities for improved revenue and user experience
- Create products which scale our Spotify Ads Platform
- Help develop a holistic ad strategy for the future of the Spotify Ads Business
- Create a healthy and productive environment in your team through honesty, accountability, empathy and inclusivity
Who You Are
- You have experience driving technical products, and can show the impact of the products you have shipped
- You have worked on platform-related products
- You have a technical understanding of how to build products that scale
- You have worked with machine learning and understand how to build a roadmap around ML priorities
- You have experience or an interest in advertising products and how they impact business value and user experience
- You care deeply about the user, whether that's Spotify listeners or advertisers looking to grow their business
- You can synthesize a strategy, build a product roadmap, and are dedicated at executing to achieve your business goals
- You are comfortable facilitating planning and decision-making across several teams, including partners, and know how to encourage and empower teams to get things done
- You have sound business judgment as well as ability to analyze qualitatively, quantitatively, problem-solve, and prioritize
- You have strong written and oral communications skills, and can clearly communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

The United States base range for this position is $112,298 - $160,425, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
