Product Manager ( Java Technologies)

Key Responsibilities:
• Product Strategy & Roadmap:
Develop and own the product strategy vision and roadmap for integrating AI capabilities with Java-based enterprise applications (e.g. Spring Boot Quarkus Liberty).
Collaborate with engineering design and AI teams to define feature sets prioritize development and deliver high-impact solutions.
• AI Product Integration:
Leverage your knowledge of AI technologies (e.g. LangChain4J machine learning frameworks) to guide product teams in integrating AI-driven solutions with Java-based applications.
Assist in the adoption of AI tools and frameworks ensuring they meet the needs of enterprise customers.
• Customer Engagement:
Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand their challenges pain points and goals. Use these insights to define and prioritize new features or improvements for AI-infused Java products.
Act as the voice of the customer ensuring the product aligns with their needs and delivers value.
• Collaboration:
Act as the bridge between the development team AI specialists and other cross-functional teams.
Facilitate communication and collaboration to ensure alignment on product goals technical feasibility and delivery timelines.
• Technical Leadership:
Provide guidance on technical aspects of AI and Java technology stacks. While you may not be coding full-time you should have a deep technical understanding of Spring Boot Quarkus Liberty and AI frameworks like LangChain4J.
Assist in defining product specifications and make sure the technical implementation aligns with the business goals.
• Learning & Growth:
If you’re not already an expert in AI this role will provide an opportunity to expand your knowledge of AI frameworks machine learning models and AI integration within Java-based applications.
Attend relevant training workshops and conferences to stay up to date with emerging trends in AI and Java development.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Essential Skills:
• Java Expertise:
Experience with Java-based technologies particularly Spring Boot Quarkus and Liberty for building scalable enterprise-level applications.
• AI Knowledge:
Solid understanding of AI concepts machine learning and related frameworks or a desire to learn more about integrating AI with Java technologies. Experience with frameworks like LangChain4J or Python-based AI tools is a plus.
Prior exposure to AI or machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch LangChain Hugging Face) is advantageous.
• Python Experience:
Experience with Python (even if at a basic level) for interacting with AI models building simple ML pipelines or leveraging Python-based AI libraries.
• Product Management or Technical Experience:
Experience as a Product Manager Technical Product Manager or Developer transitioning into product roles. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working cross-functionally with product engineering and customer-facing teams.
• Customer Focus:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and stakeholders. Ability to translate customer needs into clear product requirements and actionable plans.
• Problem-Solving Mindset:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver solutions that meet both customer needs and business goals.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with AI Frameworks:
Familiarity with AI frameworks such as LangChain4J OpenAI API or Hugging Face is a plus but not required.
• Cloud & Containerization:
Experience with cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) for deploying AI-driven applications at scale.
• Strong Product Vision & Strategy:
Proven ability to develop and execute a product vision and strategy for both customer-facing and internal-facing products.
