About the Role:

This is a key role within the software development team in which they will serve as Product Owner of a delivery squad. Partnering directly with a Technology/Delivery Lead, the Product Owner will ensure the delivery squad is setup for success while working on the right priority at the right time.
What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with Rhapsody's Product Management team to establish the priorities of the delivery squad
• Create Epics and User Stories from agreed upong high-level requirements
• Responsible for Definition of Ready to include user story creation, acceptance criteria, and end delivery coordination
• Creating user-stories that meet INVEST criteria (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimate-able, Small, and Testable)
• Partner with Tech/Delivery Lead to ensure balanced user story assignments across the delivery squads
• Participate in delivery ceremonies (e.g., Stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Report status of ongoing development and delivery to stakeholders beyond delivery squad (e.g., Product Management leadership, Operations, Support, etc.)

This job requires the candidate do work for a North American Shift from Monday to Friday

Qualifications

What You'll Need to Have to Succeed:

• Experience as Product Owner or similar role in product management
• Relevant education or experience equivalent in Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

• Certified Scum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
• Technology background with knowledge of software development and/or web technologies
• Experience closely collaborating with software engineering teams and other technology departments
