Your RoleÂ
We are seeking a Project Design Technology Manager - BIM to join our London office. In this role, you are the technology heartbeat of the projects you are on. A critical multifaceted role that provides technical leadership, strategic value and deep tactical expertise in the design technology and digital project delivery space enabling the teams you support and aligning with project and client priorities / requirements.Â
You will use your soft skills, relationship building and technical expertise to drive with confidence process innovation, optimization and digital workflows / platforms creation and implementation in partnership with your fellow project members and in partnership with the Regional Design Technology Team. Ultimately, we believe that this role is a key contributor to delivering the highest value and best outcomes to our clients.Â

What You Will DoÂ

Lead the implementation, management, and execution of Design technology/ BIM/digital modelling pipeline on projects throughout all phases of the design process.Â

Establish, Implement, and ensure adherence to the UK BIM Framework Standards – BS EN ISO 19650-1&2, BS 8541-1:2012, including Uniclass 2015 & COBie delivery.Â

Develop an Information Exchange and Design Collaboration Strategy [ Internal / External ]

Monitor project digital data metrics and support the team in accordance with performance.Â

Identify, resolve, and coach project team members on Model(s) Performances.Â

Establish, communicate, and interpret changes in best practices and protocols.Â

Align Design Technology strategy / priorities of each project with client / project specific needs.Â

Develop and implement multi-authoring platform solutions to support project needs.Â
-
Partner and collaborate with all DT peers at the studio, office, region, and firm levels.Â

Represent the project team with all our partners: design, engineering, and construction firms.Â
-
Identify workflows, tools, and efficiencies that will bring value-proposition to our projects.Â

Research innovative solutions and co-create with partners continuously in support of projects.Â

Co-ordinate regularly with all project stakeholders including Client, Program Management team, Executive Architect Team, and Consultant BIM Managers.Â

Establish, communicate, and interpret changes in best practices, protocols, and other related matters.Â

Develop and strengthen relationships with office and studio leaders by improving communication, transparency, and involvement throughout the duration of a project.Â

Mentoring and train project team on best practices in BIM and elevate the baseline aptitude of project teams using BIM.Â

Your Qualifications Â

Articulate communicator, able to convey design technology concepts to all levels of design, consultants, and clients.Â

Creative thinker, innovative and able to win the hearts / minds of stakeholders to drive change-management in the project design cycle.Â

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction and/or equivalent training and experience in the AEC / Building IndustryÂ
-
Extensive experience in Design Technology support / BIM Management Roles of all phases of design and deliveryÂ
-
Documented experience on complex projects leading Design Technology ScopeÂ
-
Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit Architecture and other related Building Information Modeling software, including BIM360 Document Management, collaboration, Navisworks for co-ordination & clash detection.Â

Experience with Design Visualization tools and applications such as 3D Studio Max, Enscape, Vray, etc. Â

Familiarity and some experience with Computational Design applications such as Dynamo, Rhino/Grasshopper, etc is a great advantage. Â

Expert knowledge of Digital Integration / Collaboration Platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and BIM-360 EcosystemÂ

Knowledge of visualisation applications such as V-Ray, 3DS Max, Enscape, Twin Motion, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, etc. is an advantage.Â

Knowledge of programming C# and Python is an advantage.Â
