ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are seeking a talented and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our team in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and functionality of our user interfaces.
Duties/Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web interfaces.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and product managers to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test strategy development.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and organized manner.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in UI automation testing.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent prior experience
• 2+ years of prior work experience in QA Automation
• Experience in UI automation testing using tools like Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.
• Certifications in software testing (ISTQB, ASTQB, etc.) are a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration with automated testing.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
