Salary: Up to ÂŁ50,000 P/A + 10% Annual Bonus + ÂŁ500 P/M Car Allowance or Company Car

What you'll be doing:
-
Developing and Implementing QHSE Policies: Create, update, and implement quality, health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Risk Assessment and Management: Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace and develop strategies to mitigate them. This includes conducting risk assessments, job safety analysis, and environmental impact assessments.

Compliance Monitoring: Ensure the organisation complies with all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and accreditations. This involves staying up-to-date with changing regulations and ensuring the organisation's practices align with them.

Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and environmental breaches to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Auditing and Inspections: At the Veolia Chesterfield site and Veolia customer site locations UK wide, conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure they meet safety and environmental standards. Implement corrective actions as necessary.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in quality, health, safety, and environmental performance. Implement and track initiatives to enhance overall QHSE performance.

Proven professional QHSE experience within a highly regulated sector

Strong leadership skills to drive safety and quality improvements

Quality assurance qualification

NEBOSH Qualification
-
Experience in managing and implementing a quality management system
