REACT/Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with extensive experience in React to join our dynamic team in Lugano (CH). 

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Design and implement scalable and reliable web applications
• Develop and maintain thought-out solutions within the team’s responsibility
• Improve and optimize existing functionalities
• Ensure high-quality code and performance 
• Work on technical innovation and continuous improvement 
• Knowledge sharing and support other team members in an AGILE and international environment

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's/Master's degree preferably in computer science or engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in development using React.js and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks
• Advanced practical skills with Redux, React Router, React Query, React-hook-form 
• Hands-on proficiency in software testing tools, such as Jest 
• Good understanding of HTML5, SCSS, and experience in implementing responsive UI designs
• Previous experience in Financial Services or Cards & Payments industry would be a plus
• Good command of spoken and written Italian and English is a must
• Excellent analytic troubleshooting capabilities and problem-solving skills

Location Requirement:

• Please note that a fully remote work policy is not offered for this role
• Candidates should be prepared to relocate to Canton Ticino/Switzerland
• Work-from-home days may be possible according to the Client's policy
