The Job/What You'll Do:
Assetmark Investments™ crafts innovative, outcome-oriented investment portfolios. We partner exclusively with financial advisors on the AssetMark platform to provide client-centric investments and communications to their clients.
We are looking for an experienced Investment Sales Specialist. This is sales focused role that combines your ability to speak to the investment approach at the most detailed levels together with your strong presentation skills. The primary activity is to build strong partnerships with Assetmark wholesalers to support opportunities as they emerge, but also to promote and create additional opportunities as you develop direct relationships with advisors. The position can involve significant travel and currently is planned for areas in the Southeast. Preference to candidates that live in Georgia or Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to internal sales teams to promote our products
- Promptly respond to incoming questions and inquiries from internal advisors
- Provide feedback internally on suggestions to improve products and sales materials
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Well-organized and process-oriented
- Ability to improvise and think on the fly
- Extensive experience presenting detailed investment presentations
- Ability to build strong professional relationships with AssetMark sales and Independent Advisors
- A demonstrable passion for the markets and investments and the ability to explain macro trends and their impact on investments
- Strong presentation skills: in person, zoom, and/or via phone
- Comprehensive understanding of the Independent Advisor market
- Self-starter
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in field preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or similar and/or equivalent job experience
Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $110,000-$125,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
