Regional Manager (High Proof Spirits) - Cleveland
Reports to
Vice President of Sales, High Proof Spirits and General Sales Managers
Job Summary
The Regional Manager, High Proof Spirits is responsible for overseeing and achieving sales goals within defined divisions. This individual is tasked to drive sales through effective sales and marketing strategies, coordination with Spirits Ambassadors, Sales Professionals, and key accounts and customer relationship management. S/He will manage the high proof spirits business and provide proper training and marketing information to management and sales professionals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in divisional general sales meetings monthly and to remain connected in all industry trends/developments.
- Use Vendor Portal to keep on top of agency inventory, item sales, and uncover transfer needs.
- Submit transfer requests and manage pick up and delivery.
- Responsibility for selected regional on premise chains that are based in their respective markets.
- Submit weekly recaps and schedules to VP of Spirits, General Sales Manager.
- Provide work with recap forms to local DM, Sales Pro and GSM.
- Educating Sales Pro's with Cocktail development.
- Work with suppliers in their market as well as work with divisions to schedule supplier work withs for Sales Representatives.
- Work with District Managers and Sales Representatives to assist with proper merchandising in agency stores and placements in the on premise segment.
- Assist on premise sales representatives with presentations and building cocktail programs for said accounts with them.
- Perform product training for each division in territory
- Responsible for managing all activities of our Key Account Sales Representatives.
- Assist with sales and education in Lorain and Youngstown divisions.
- Monthly spirts check in with each GSM and Ambassador in divisions responsible for.
- Weekly conversations with Ambassadors about overall spirits business.
- Maintain cocktail training program and Heidelberg 101.
- Train all new hires in divisions on entire Spirits program.
- Manage Single Barrel sales within divisions.
- Update Sharepoint with all sales sheets for specific suppliers.
- Perform team trainings in market for both on and off premise business.
Qualifications and Requirements
- College Degree preferred.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Minimum two years relevant sales experience with a record of meeting and exceeding goals.
- Must be results oriented with excellent verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as strong customer service skills.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, One Drive/Share Point, IDig, VIP/JWALK, & Beverage on the Web
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work flexible hours through the week, including some weekends and holidays.
